On December 1, World AIDS Day, the unique project “Stars against AIDS” opens in the Rudomino All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature.

Artists Against AIDS will open on November 11, 2008 in Moscow at the Central House of Artists (Krymsky val,10).This international exhibition, initiated by UNAIDS, is the first major event in the Russian art world to bring together 23 prominent artists from Russia, Ukraine, the USA, Spain and Greece in efforts to curb the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The artists include Rustam Khamdamov, Georgy Frangulyan, Andrei Makarevich, Andrei Bilzho, Sergei Tsigal and others.
