In the framework of a new club project “MajITO NIGHT” in Moscow, DJ of a famous New York club “Studio-54”- Nicky Sianо, “Vice-Miss Universe 2008” Vera Krasova, and singer Diana Gurtskaya made an appeal to draw attention to HIV/AIDS issue in Russia.

Show business stars talked about the necessity to unite efforts for providing assistance to people living with HIV, and specifically to children left without parental care.
Singer Diana Gurtskaya who had actively supported Stars Against AIDS project spoke about tolerance and stigma towards people living with HIV. She underscored unacceptability of discrimination against of people living with HIV and reminded all of kindness and mercy to those in need of help and support.
DJ Nicky Siano said:
-My best friend DJ David Rodriguez died of AIDS in 1984. After that I became active in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention and assistance to the HIV positive. When I am asked if my musical career of a DJ or my activity aimed at halting HIV epidemic are more important for me, the only answer I have is - my volunteer work in response to AIDS.
Vera Krasova considers it her duty to use her honorary title “Vice-Miss Universe 2008” for drawing youth’s attention to the issue of HIV prevention.
-In Russia there are so many people of my age who do not at all think about their own and their loved ones’ health. I would very much want to change this situation and draw their attention to HIV prevention.

During «MAjITO NIGHT» nine thousand rubles were collected for Republican Clinical Hospital for Infectious Diseases-Federal Centre for Prenatal Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission in Ust Izhora village of Leningrad oblast.
